Challenge

Creating an immersive fantasy world with engaging gameplay mechanics, compelling storylines, and memorable characters. The game needed systems for combat, progression, and exploration that work together cohesively.

Solution

Built the game in Unity using C# for all game systems. Created custom character controllers with state machines for movement and combat. Designed combat systems with hit detection and damage calculations. Built 3D assets and environments in Blender, then textured them in Substance Painter for realistic materials. Designed progression mechanics using experience systems and skill trees that reward exploration. Wrote dialogue systems and quest management code. Created an inventory system with item databases stored in scriptable objects.

Results

Developed a working RPG with cohesive systems and engaging gameplay. The fantasy world and characters created an immersive experience for players.
