Challenge

Designing a trading app that works on small screens without sacrificing functionality. Traders need quick access to charts, order placement, portfolio tracking, and market data, all in a mobile context.

Solution

Designed a clean interface hierarchy in Figma that prioritizes essential trading information. Created gesture based navigation for quick switching between views. Built interactive prototypes in Principle to test interaction flows before development. Used Sketch for creating reusable component libraries. Designed for both iOS and Android platforms with appropriate native patterns for each. Created comprehensive design specs in Adobe XD for handoff to developers.

Results

Delivered a complete design system ready for development. The interface balances information density with usability on mobile screens.
