Challenge

Creating a mobile game that's easy to pick up but hard to master. The game needed tight controls, satisfying physics, progression that keeps players engaged, and social features to drive retention.

Solution

Built the game in Unity with C# for game logic. Implemented physics using Unity's Rigidbody system with custom force calculations for throwing mechanics. Created 3D models and animations in Blender. Integrated Firebase for real time leaderboards and cloud save functionality. Designed UI elements in Adobe Illustrator. Built progression systems with increasing challenges using scriptable objects for level data. Created visual effects and particle systems that made every action feel impactful. Iterated based on playtesting feedback.

Results

Game downloaded by players who praised the tight controls and addictive gameplay. Positive reviews highlighted the satisfying physics and well balanced difficulty curve. Social features drove organic sharing and repeat sessions.
